Tips for numbering documents
Bottom center is the most common choice for reports, essays and contracts. Page 1 of 12 makes it easy to spot a missing page in a printed document, which is why it’s popular for official papers.
If your document has a cover, turn on skip the first page so no number appears on it. Use the start number when your PDF is one part of a longer document, for example to continue from page 25.

Is it free to add page numbers?

Is my PDF uploaded?
